Sporknotes

"Yeah, We don't remember either…" A team of highly unskilled non-academics perform improvised abridged versions of the great works of literature as chosen by the audience based on nothing more than an unabridged plot summary.

If you missed Sporknotes in the Frigid Festival this March, you are in luck! After a successful run, Sporknotes is being resurrected! After a recent show at the Gene Frankel Theatre, the show will travel to Gotham City Improv.

"I had the pleasure of seeing 'Sporknotes...' If you are in the mood for thumbtack sharp improv wit, all under the guise of a literary round-table, then check it out."
- Mary Hilton, Newbie NYC

"'Sporknotes' is a set of intellectual mockery and literary blasphemy. Set in motion by audience suggestions of both classic and obscure literature, the troupe of improvisers and actors bring the stories to life with little to no knowledge of the story line, guided only by online student study guides."
